Re: Top schools for retirement savings in Asia
UNIS Hanoi and ISPP in Cambodia both have excellent savings potential ($25,000 USD +) and also have between 10-15% lump sum retirement per year.

Singapore Packages
Which school in Singapore has the best overall monetary package (base salary with benefits etc)? Are the schools close to each other in terms of money in the bank or is one school way above the rest?
I'm assuming either SAS, UWCSEA or Tanglin will be the top....

Re: Best school in Vietnam - HCMC?
UNIS easily offers the best salary and benefits in Vietnam (tax free) and is the only true not-for-profit in Vietnam (SSIS is apparently too, however it is still owned by the Phu My Hung Corporation), but it's in Hanoi. HCMC is the better city to live in based on things like weather and lifestyle. Hanoi was better to visit though, much more to see and do as a tourist, lots of places around Hanoi too.
When I lived in HCMC, SSIS and BIS were known as the top schools. ISHMC had the Cognita thing going on, which made it unfavorable, though I have heard from friends still there that it is much better with the Admin who came over from NIST.

Re: SCHROLE Recruitment
Yes, it seems more and more are going down this path.
I tried to go on Council of International Schools recently, which I used to have an account with, but I now notice they are also requesting the same thing i.e. confidential references before they will even activate the account etc. I don't remember CIS requesting that before.
Careful thought is needed as to how many recruitment sites one signs up with to not bombard referees with a multitude of reference requests.

SCHROLE Recruitment

Is anybody using this site?
It looks to be new. Seems to be another Search type site i.e. wanting confidential references etc. Seems a few of the schools in Asia are using it for recruitment (International School Bangkok, Hong Kong Academy, Canadian Academy Kobe etc).

Re: Direct Applications for Teaching Couple
Thanks for the info.
Yes, it's for a school that doesn't have an online application program.
We have decided to write our own cover letters etc and have our own PDFs, then send it all together from one email address.

Direct Applications for Teaching Couple
I tried a search to find an answer to this question, but didn't seem to find an answer. Apologies as I'm sure this has been asked many times.
When applying directly to schools as a teaching couple, do we apply individually, mentioning the other in the cover letter and CV? Or do we apply with one cover letter about both of us? Or one PDF that has both of our applications together in one long document pack?
Thanks

Photography and Media Classes in International Schools
I'm wondering if anybody has any information about schools that run photography and/or media courses as subjects?
I did a search of this forum and there are a few old posts that mentioned Singapore American School and International School Bangkok run such courses as part of the curriculum.
Are there any other schools that people have worked at that run them?

What are the main differences between the two, other than database size?
I have used Search in the past, so I already have a profile, references etc, but I'd be interested to know if ISS is better as I'm about to get the process started again.

Hi,
Does anyone have any information on this school? There's no reviews on the paid side and nothing I could find in a forum search.
I have the information from the Search database, but that's it.
Thanks
