I was offered a job at the school in Krakow a couple years back. Their package was minimal, not including housing, shipment, or even medical insurance. I am not sure if things have improved.
However, I have a couple friends who work/have worked there and they all have greatly enjoyed their time at ISK.

I can relate to your post. I only had feelings of excitement when I accepted my job in Russia. Then, about a week before I left the States, I started experiencing extreme anxiety and could not sleep at night. I had never experienced anything like it. However, once I arrived in Russia I loved it and just signed on for a third year. Good luck in the Netherlands! I think you will love it!

My Search associate was also no help to me. I ended up obtaining my current position on my own by applying directly to the school after seeing the opening on the school's website. However, my associate still got paid. After I accepted my new position I notified my associate. He told me he had been trying to get me on at a school in SE Asia. That was the first I had heard about it.
As for PsyGuy, he is not all bad. Definitely a bit of a know-it-all, but sometimes shares helpful and accurate information. I do wish that he would try harder with his grammar.

Holland
I was reading some of the reviews on schools in Holland and came upon this line: "Amsterdam is only really livable in with the 30% tax allowance which applies for 10 years". Can anyone elaborate on this? Is this still in effect? Does it mean that overseas hires do not have to pay Dutch taxes? I'd appreciate any information. Thanks!
