Hi! I am now on my shipping to-do list, and I was wondering if it is okay to ship paper school files. I have many files I would like to ship to my new school, but don't know how well paper ships. Also, how is the shipping process? Does the company come to the house and pack everything that needs to be shipped? Do we pack everything up and they come pick it up? Please advise.
Thanks!

Is it normal to feel a little nervous? Advice Please
Hi guys!
My hubby and I leave to Malaysia at the end of June, and I'm starting to get really nervous! I know it is normal but what can you advise us as first time international teachers leaving family and friends behind and starting a brand new life?
Is Kuala Lumpur safe? Is it easy to acclimate to this city?
I just feel a bit anxious. Please help!

Cali, Colombia is AWESOME!
I don't know anything about the school. Sorry, I'm new to the international field, but I do know about Cali! My husband is from there, and I have gone twice since we've been married. We are going again in June! GREAT CITY! Nice PEOPLE! Food to die for! Just like any other city you visit, you need to be smart and use common sense. Enjoy, do it, and take a leap of faith. :)
I do have a girlfriend who works in Cartagena, Colombia, and she told me that you have to either travel or save because it is hard to do both..... So that is something to think about.

Should I sell my furniture or store it?
Hi guys! I know this is probably a silly question but I am really wanting to sell all my furniture here in the states so I can have some spending money in my new destination! However, when I do decide to come back to the states(I'm not sure when), I will have to start from scratch.
What have you guys done?

good areas near International School of Kuala Lumpur
Hi-
What areas are good to live near the International School of Kuala Lumpur, Melawati location?
It doesn't have to be really close but somewhere we could drive only to work and the rest of the time is spent walking or taking the transit to restaurants, cafes, etc.
We are a young energetic couple and would love to live in an active area.
Thanks!

good areas near International School of Kuala Lumpur
Hi!
Can any of you recommend good areas to live in near ISKL Melawati location?
My husband and I are looking for an active area where we would only drive to work, but could step out our door and explore the restaurants, cafes, parks, etc. Even if we could walk to the nearest transit station would be a great thing too.
Thanks for all your help. :)

Feel your excitement
Hi-
My husband and I are going through the same thing except that we don't have kiddos. We are in the process of selling our house and it's just so much work and preparation to get done before our big move.
We know that it will be an experience of a lifetime, and we will have no regrets. Material stuff we can come back to like car, house, etc, but it is those memories and adventures that will live with us forever and will be able to share with our kiddos when we are much older.
However, it is overwhelming and it hasn't really hit me because we're so busy with the house. I know once I'm on that plane, I will be in complete SHOCK! HA!
Where in Asia?

We were a HIT!
Hey Psyguy! You were wrong!!!! hehehehe Just giving you a hard time. You were actually right with the many things you did say, but my husband and i landed a wonderful opportunity!!!!!!! :)
We're excited and nervous at the same time! Of course, it is a hard situation for my parents (latino parents can sometimes be overbearing), and really this is the only things that kind of brings me down. I guess it's normal.
Cheers!
