Hello all,
My boyfriend and I have been teaching ESL for 3 years abroad, but we only have BA's and TEFL certificates. We're starting the George Mason Fast Train program this summer, which allows international teachers to get their credentials/MA's over 3 super-intensive summers and a few online courses. In lieu of student teaching, it is instead required to teach for a year at an international school.
The program is perfect, but I'm wondering if there are any schools/countries that would hire a teaching couple that's not yet certified (though in school to become so). Any advice? Is a Search Associates job fair even worth the money if most schools won't hire me? Or is there a chance some schools would?
Thanks!
