Before you commit to teaching in China, make sure you understand what your students may expect from a classroom with mostly Chinese students. Before China's mandatory education regulations were amended a few years ago, I would not have felt this way. Even if I strongly disagree with them, I respect a nation's right to decide for itself what laws to impose, and I will never teach in a classroom where they are in effect.
