Hi all,
Thank you advance for any response, thoughts or suggestions. I’ve been offered a post in Doha, they’re in the process of sorting out the visa and will be sending me tickets for August.
My current head says I can resign with subject to contracts so I do have a safety net in place.
The only thing I find strange is the speed things are done over there. I’ve read online that this is something that is always a surprise for new international teachers.
The school haven’t requested references yet and haven’t offered me a contract. They’ve sent through post, accommodation and salary details in an offer on email.
Is this normal? Should I go ahead and get my certificates attested?
Thanks.
