My husband is looking at teaching at an international school. He currently holds a bachelor's in music and a master's in Bible. He would be interested in primarily teaching music at an international school, but he is open to other options. He knows he needs to have 25 credits of education (required by the country we are looking at), and a state teaching certificate. Does anyone have a recommendation for the easiest or cheapest way to fulfill this requirement? We currently reside in IL, but are looking at various online programs throughout the US. He doesn't really care which state he is certified in. He also taught at a small college in the Caribbean for 2 years, but since it was not accredited it can't be used for most teaching experience requirements (like Florida's college teaching requirement for state certification). I've spent much time on this site and it looks like Teacher Ready is a popular program, but wondering about any others that may offer education credits
