Package is ok not great. Accommodation is on university grounds in apartments, 2 bedrooms. No pool but playground/grassed area
Top management is an improvement on last I believe but if you are Primary the head/deputy are challenging. Secondary is a happier working environment.
This is secondary knowledge. I haven't worked there but work at another school in the area and know a couple of families there.
Abu Dhabi is easy to live in apart from driving but there will be better schools to join.

Think Indonesia may be 5 years. Never heard of a restriction for the other two but may be wrong

Re: Anyone else hearing crickets?
Sudra, I think if I was in your position I would reassess now.
I think one of you breaking into leadership would be tough but two near impossible. Why not one of you go for leadership and one teaching with a view to working way up? Or target a good school you want to stay at, both as teachers again with a view to working your way up?
Are you overseas at the minute?

Re: ISIS in Jeddah
There have been threats to expat teachers and from what I remember IS did name schools to target but they weren't named in media reports
A quick Google brought up this
http://www.moneyinternational.com/news/ ... s-threats/
I'm not in or never have been in Saudi though so don't know what is actually happening.

Have a look at Sunderland uni, they do a PCGE(i). I know people who are teaching internationally with it.

Maybe, we will see. Think it is heading on a bit to get a positive response now. Just surprise not to have had the rejection email yet. Particularly as they are working with a recruitment company who from experience a couple of years ago are on the ball.
Good luck with UWCSEA, hope you get through

Hi
Was this Tanglin? I'm still waiting to hear back about my video interview (not Skype just a video one). Wondering if it is time to move on.
