I am looking for some advice on my particular situation. We are a new teaching couple with no full-time classroom experience. All the international recruiting websites state that candidates must have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience (which does not include student teaching or substitute teaching). I worry that we may not even be qualified to attend a recruitment fair based on these requirements? But if we are able to attend, what are our chances of receiving any offers when we do not have any experience? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
