Manila - BSM and ISM - recruitment
Hello, does anyone know when either of these schools do their main recruitment drives? Have I missed the boat for a August/Sept 2020 start? I'm an English teacher with previous IS experience, but am currently in the UK. Thanks.

Re: Pakistan
What kind of savings are we talking? I have been interested in the idea of Pakistan for a while, but assumed that pay would be average to low... and saving, unfortunately, has to be fairly high on my list of priorities. Can anyone offer any insight into the kind of salaries on offer? Thanks

Patana question
Hello!
I am planning to apply for a position at Bangkok Patana school, but am slightly concerned by its location, some way outside Bangkok itself. I am also interested in finding out a bit more about the social scene amongst staff.
Basically, I love my current school in China but my main issues with it (and the reasons I'm looking to leave) are that it is full of staff with young families who have different priorities to me (i.e. rather than socialising in the evenings or weekends, they understandably spend time at home) and that it is located about 40 minutes from the city.
Would the move to Patana put me in a similar situation, albeit in Thailand? Or is getting into BK quite straightforward and/or are the staff demographics a bit more young/single-person friendly?
Would appreciate any comment on this. Thanks in advance.
