This forum is used by folks who need relevant information about a place in the world. Someone using the search engine to find discussion about Cairo would find this post useful and mostly pertinent to any school in the city for years to come. The previous post will be outdated when we have flying buses, and the commute is no longer an issue. I am happy to share what I have learned whenever I can.

I second what specialed said, and have a suggestion. Get a map of Cairo and think about how far from the school you are willing to live. The bus ride (though the buses are nice) can be loooooong. If you are thinking of far away from New Cairo, then consider the trade offs. Is there something near the flat that is just fantastic to live near? Is it a spectacular view, or unbeatable deal? If not, look closer.
