I too have seen a posting I would like to have inGuatemala but am worried about the crime. Can anyone help me out and tell me about how safe it is there. Obviously some areas are not safe in any city but generally speaking how safe can you feel when you are in public? I speak Spanish to a degree but my husband does not.

What nationalities were at the job fair?

Thanks for posting your experiece on the forum. Did you find there were a mix of nationalities at the fair? My one concern that stopped me going was that I thought they might only be hiring Americans and I am not American. I am looking for a librarian position in South America. Did you see any on offer there? :)
