Question about QSI and transferring:
If you are certified for art, and only teach art . . when it's time to transfer to, say, somewhere in China, would you be almost guaranteed an art teaching position? Perhaps they could open up the position by having their uncertfied-for-art teacher go to another subject to make room for the certified art teacher?
I wouldn't mind teaching "some" art w/ English, but would want at least some art classes to keep on my resume.

Pestering?
After being selected to move up in the hiring process, the school says, "email us your schedule, we'll get back to you on (insert date here) to set up an interview".
If a few days have passed since the given date, should I send a reminder email, or would that be considered pestering? I have an official offer at another school waiting on me.

With your experience, a school like S H S I D in Shanghai would hire you. You'd probably teach English too, but could teach History and/or Geography.
At this school, a fresh out of college uncertified teacher would earn 25,000 USD a year (after taxes, bonus included) with free housing. You would no doubt make more.

QSI interview; how long to decide?
If one were to have an interview with QSI and is offered a job, but that person wants to see what other options come his way . . . . are you given a set amount of time to think about it before they give the position to someone else?
