from the feedback we have from search associates..which isnt much as we have had no contact from the many schools we've applied to, even though we plan go to fair,bit disspirited and unsure if we'd get better...?

what other schools pay more...any names?

Hey, myself and partner have been offered job in 2 schools in abu dhabi!
accom,insurance,2 flights,utilities all included in both schools. we have never taught abroad. we have been offered 32,000 aed which is about 5400 pounds a month between us. What u think

If at job fair and you sign a contract..and by chance you happen to get another offer,could you sign and tell school you aren't interested?
Also,If you sign a contract and a few months later you happen to be offered another job..can you accept and let school know? Haven't done either...just wondeing :wink:

I'm going to london fair. Have sent applications out to 15schools for primary position with wife..no feedback just few auto emails. All specific cover letters. We have over 17year experience between us...unsure what to make of it all?? Should I get in contact with search or is it too early to have heard from schools??

Going to job fair in january,4days long. This might seem like a stupid question but could someone tell me what exactly goes on? Do you actually sign a contract if offered or can you think about it. Just a bit unsure what to expect from a practical point of view. Thanks for any help or advice!!

Just wondering a few things. Registered with search with my wife and applied for around 20 jobs. Looked up schools and sent specific cover letters and cvs and referred to search. We have 17 years experience between us...made joint applications as we are a couple. Got a few automatic emails back but nothing more than that. Will there be more movement in January? Also, when you go to job fair do you need to apply again to these schools...thanks for any help,comments etc.
