International
School Stuttgart Accused of Unethical Treatment
by Educator
|
The same day that my contract
was unjustly terminated, the school surprisingly offered
me the same contract once more--this time terminating
in June, 2008 and without summer pay! The new
contract also requires that I do not ‘go public’ about
the events that have transpired. Please post what has
happened to me this year,
maybe it will help someone avoid the same fate in the
future. I suppose the moral of my story is that international
educators should never relocate with a family overseas
under a probationary contract and that all agreements must be
in writing. Go

Counselor Barred from School & Office & Unfairly Fired in Mexico City

school director. "Throughout the entire meeting,
I was not allowed to speak in a meaningful way. Dr. Cortes’ tone
was hostile, aggressive and entirely lacking in professional
regard. His unprofessional behavior mortified me and
I felt it was insulting". Go

Breaks Verbal Promise to Teacher, Resulting
in Loss of Job
|
Lavinia had returned to her home
country for the summer months and soon thereafter received
an email requesting her apartment key. Lavinia soon understood
her school was planning to move her out of her own apartment
and into shared housing. The previous administration
had provided her a private apartment. Now, in her absence,
the incoming administration was requesting she consent
to a new arrangement and agree to live with a roommate
in another apartment. Lavinia protested and her school
countered with a notice of dismissal. Go

by Wasta in which a director recounts awful experiences
at Future Bilingual School.
