Comments: St. Maur International School is one of two international schools in Yokohama, and claims to be the oldest international school in the world....

St. Maur International School is situated only a few yards from the more famous Yokohama International School, and is often seen as a poor relation in terms of resources and pay. Located on a hill (Yokohama is a city of hills) close to Gaijin Botchi (Foreigners' Cemetery), it is easy to walk from St. Maur International School into town to get shopping (The admin don’t mind teachers popping out during the school day – provided that they are not meant to be teaching at the time, of course)....

It is a small school (K – 18) and has a family feel, with a very good sports program....
