Comments: I
believe that the premise of educating the "whole child" is
an excellent aim, but at Lancaster
School this
was used as an excuse for a lack of organization with regard to
teaching and assessment which failed the students
and their parents who pay for education at Lancaster....
There
is no reason why you cannot aim to educate the whole child
whilst also ensuring that students achieve the best academic
results
of which they are able. Thirty years is more than enough
time in which to....
However,
in the interest of complete honesty, I would like to say that
while there were others who shared my opinion,
I know there were also people who enjoyed working at Lancaster
School and
who were happy to work there for several years....
If
you are a laid back (and I would go so far as to say, not especially
professional) teacher to whom academic results do not matter,
then....
