is old and in need of repairs, but it has old, colonial
charm to it and is very green and close to
nature. We often see snakes and monkeys around, and those left
deep impressions on our students' minds....and of course the
stairs will make anyone lose weight if you walk up and
down them daily. With that being said, Emaar
Raffles International School's
hands are tied by the fact that the property is leased from
the government
and permissions may not be granted to do major renovations.
With
the internet and state-of-the-art Macbooks, what other resources
do we need? The world is at our fingertips. The kids
are all required to have a Macbook at Emaar
Raffles International School, Singapore (makes
teaching a challenge) but the kids have the world on their desk.
