Comments: Classrooms
are overcrowded at International
Community School of Addis Ababa,
with lower primary school mostly containing 30 students. The
school is far better resourced than
a lot of African schools, although equipment is generally fairly
shabby. International
Community School of Addis Ababa seems
to be struggling to makes ends meet, and this is evidenced by
the facilities.
Housing
is good by African standards, but maintenance is done poorly
and staff have to fight for repairs. Equipment is shabby,
many beds are of extremely poor quality (mattresses that look
like swiss cheese can't be attractive to anyone!). Don't expect
a full, or even, half set of cups, crockery, knives, forks, etc.,
and you can reasonably expect to have to spend a considerable
amount of your own money to have your house 'basically' equiped
at International Community School of Addis Ababa....
