Comments: The principal of Canadian International School Japan has good intentions, but chooses to keep his head in the sand on many issues. He favors teachers who do not complain and who will follow his direction without questions. He did not renew three Canadian International School teachers' contracts because they were critical; while the vice-principal has no idea how to work with other teachers, parents, or students. He spends most of his day teaching PE or organizing Canadian International School's cleaning program (students and teachers clean Canadian International School Japan, including the toilets).

The students are unusually hard working, caring, and nice in spite of the craziness of Canadian International School Japan. They are required to use English at all times, but may speak in Korean or Japanese isolating the few students who do not speak these languages. The students are accepted to Canadian International School Japan because they can pay the tuition; their parents think they can.....
