Comments: Bangkok Patana School is an excellent choice; particularly for families. Hands down the best International School in the country, with one of the best packages. The recent increase in housing allowance at Bangkok Patana School offers choice and luxury. Bangkok is a great place to live and travel within the country and region is cheap. Salary at Bangkok Patana School is highly competitive and it is easy to save money while maintaining a comfortable standard of living.

Only down side for me at Bangkok Patana School has been has been the admin and workload. Most teachers are expected to teach across the age range 11-18 as well as contribute to extra curricular activities at least once a week. You may find yourself with a full teaching day, ECA followed by a parents evening - whist having a set of reports to finish that night. The Director at Bangkok Patana School is very personable and approachable, however his hectic schedule rarely allows him to get involved in academics.
