Comments: The
director had no say in the goings-on in the American School of Alexandria. He was
seen to have absolutely no power. The owner has final say
in everything, and the students academic success is furthest
from her mind at American School of Alexandria
Class
sizes are ridiculously small (I had three), there is virtually
no after-school activities to be involved in at American School of Alexandria, and travel
is cheap, with lots of opportunity. Alexandria, however,
is very, very noisy and dirty, and there is virtually no
cultural diversity.
Housing was an issue but I lived in a simple apartment with
a great view of the Mediterranean and it was just fine (paid
for by the American
School of Alexandria).
The neighborhood was not pretty, but very safe with local markets,
barber etc....
