The pay of teachers is definitely a legitimate concern. Howeve, it is not too bad---it is the high cost of housing that is the biggest financial burden in Paris. Some teachers at International School of Paris live out of Paris and commute in to get a bigger place. If you have a family and want to live in Paris, basically it will be very hard unless you have a two-income family....

The biggest surprise for new teachers at International School of Paris is the size of apartments. If you want to live in the centre of Paris and work at ISP, you will be looking at a flat of around 30/35 square meters or even smaller....

The director and management at International School of Paris are very poor and this has resulted in bad feelings between staff and management. In the next few years this is looking unlikely to change....
